So today, my 2 girls had dance recital photo shoots, no joke.. from 7:55AM until 4:45PM!!
My wife says to me.. "take the boy fishin'.."
Orig plan was to meet up with Wiseguy and BassKicker at DP.. but I got skunked last time at DP with my son, and I really wanted to get him on his first float tube fish! So, when LokDog threw out the open invite to the jungle, I jumped on it (sorry Jimmy & John for flaking out on you guys).

Hmm.. good to know, I guess.. but a little scary in a float tube, no? .. where the heck is this place??
I was a bit worried about the logistics of getting him safely into the jungle .. but it all worked out eventually.
We've all seen the posts.. mine is nothing like that. It's not like the fish just jump in your tube! lol...
But, my son did manage to get his first THREE float tube fish, and he was pretty stoked!

Son's FIRST float tube fish!
Some steady fishing for first few hours got him 3 nice-sized bass, to my zero. I managed to catch up with 2 small-frys, and a small sculpin. So, we tied on the fish count, but he crushed Dad on the poundage!
I guess he wins the tie-breaker!
Lok had his usual killer session, tons of bites, but he was hunting the big fish with the big hooks. I'm sure he'll post up his awesome catching. He finally hooked a monster rockfish, and I was there to catch it on the gopro! We wanted to take a nice trophy pic in better lighting, and somehow while kicking over to the better light, the fish flopped out of his hands and won his freedom! Still.. it was an awesome fish. Congrats Yok!
