For the upcoming year I wanna do some fishing on one of those charter boats. What kind of rod and reel ,tackle should I have. Best time to go on the boat ...just about any tips you can give me will help

Are you looking for something species specific or more of an all around setup.

I've gone out with a Shimano Cardiff 400 on a 8'-0" medium action teramar and didn't run into any problems. I've done calico's, sand bass, and rock fish with this setup.

Weekdays have smaller crowds

I have a complete set up for sale.
2 rod set up and complete tackle bag.
Will this you can do anything from a 1/2 day , island, paddy hopping 2-3 days out.
