My buddy Patrick decided to take me up on the offer and go fishing, he used up a sick day and drove 2 hours to make it! That's hard core! Anyways, launched at the coast guard station and worked our way up to Balboa Island. Right from the get go we started nailing a couple fish around the piling and docks. Then we moved over to the moorings and boats and it was pretty wide open for a few hours. Nothing big, but very fun indeed. Killer bait color of the day was white! They were nailing the white swimbaits and curly tails. Here are some photos of some fish, we both lost track of how many we hanged. Tight linez!

...then came up this fish, anyone know what it is? It had pink and greens in it. Some type of trout looking fish. Never caught this before.
