Hello All,

Quick question, that day of the gathering in Newport i saw some of you guys had backpack straps opn your floats, did you guys do your own or did you guys just buy them...also if you did make them what material did you guys use.

I have the Cumberland and it already comes with straps when you buy the tube.

I've heard luggage straps work pretty good too. There was a conversation about this a while back so you might want to do a search.

When I had my outcast I made my own straps out of canopy tie downs from Home Depot and a couple of caribeaners to make removal easy.  It's the same stuff I use to attach my rod rack to my tube.

I did this on the quick to have something for the next day at Perris, but is worked so good, I never changed them.

Walmart has straps in there camping area, I think they were $2.50

Told you Walmart has them. Check the camping section. They also have some nice water tight bags and cases that'll come in handy.
