Surf Fishing in San Clemente 12/13/13

Hey everyone. Me and my youngest brother (the older of the two just wanted to play on his ipod), decided to go fishing at the san clemente beaches this afternoon. We fished for about an hour (cause the parents had to go to a christmas party), and we caught 7 perch. We got one double hookup and my brother thought it was cool so we took a picture. None of them were very big but it was still fun to be catching fish in the winter. Also, a first for this year was my first walleye surfperch of the year. I've caught them before, but this was the first one this year.

P.S. Dad was mad because we CPR'd them cause he wanted to eat them. My grandma made this amazing tartar sauce and he wanted to eat the fish with the sauce.

we were using berkely gulp sandworms, carolina rigged with a 1/2 oz sinker cause the surf was pretty small.

Good job!!!! surf fishing is fun....only been hand full of times....ive done bolsa for some nice halibuts off the surf using lucky craft lures the CIF ones, California Inshore Fishing....anyways awesome job boys!!!!! keep it up!
