Lake Perris (2-4-14)

Water Conditions :
Water Temp : 54 degrees
Wind : S/SE    2-5mph
Visibilty :  Poor 3-5ft
Location : Power Cove
Day : Mostly cloudy , Spots of sunshine
Method of Attack : Green Plastic's & Tube Jigs
Tubes : Chompers Ultra Tube (Pearl Pepper & Watermelon Seed)
Plastic : 4" Straight Tail (green Weenie in color)

Well How can I say this , The bite was Wide open today fish as shallow as 5ft of water Cruising the outside of the weed beds and I was jigging the Tubes and a 4" plastic on a Shaky head right in the pockets and the bass where smashing the baits .  No pics as I left my damn camera at home    , But I Fished from 7:30 - 1pm and Managed 9 Legal bass and lost one DD    ...  Had a bass boat come rolling in after I lost the DD and they hooked up quickly to a 12lb bass , man we where all hollering .  Heck I heard Hollering all over the lake so others where having a great day as well .

The bass are out there guys , I will make sure my camera stays with me 100% of the time so I can load up some fish porn for you all next time .

I would say the same thing , BS  lol ... Pics will come . If all goes well Thursday and the rain holds off a bit I will get out and Crush a few more bass and name them after you buddy !  

I hope the Rain does not hold off though we need it badly and  with some volume,   60% chance and looks like it will come early after noon , we shall see .

Indeed!!! These weather patterns are really fooling them. Good for the Freshwater team.   

So true these bass are all over the place, Also Another Thing I noticed is that the trout are still moving in the east end right off the bank and the big girls are sitting right behind them.

Heck I watched a Red Tail Hawk swoop down and picked one clean out of the water

Yeah!!! I seen that this last weekend also. That trout was good size too.
