8/17 Lake Perris

I've had on my mind the fabled LP Tire Reef for quite some time now. I decided to kick over this morning to see it while the water is low.

The tires are in six feet of water or less for the most part

It really wasn't worth the trip, there are weeds all around. But is is nice to have a visual for when the lake fills back up.

I did catch two small bass on my journey

That little guy mugged my spinnerbait, the other one I caught on a redworm looking for Blue Gill.

I saw no top water action or swim bait action on the journey there.

Short answer is "no".
But I had to stay on the move for the duration of this trip. I did find a couple of spots I will go back to and work for BG on another trip.
