Well my buddy and I launched with high hopes for king harbor but after fishing from 11pm till 2am without a bite we packed up the boat and shot to the lab. Launched at 230am and could not get a bite till the tide started coming in... I managed a nice 10 pound halibut that I got on a holloween color 3" swimbait... 95% of the fish we got were caught on 3" swimbaits in baitfish color. They were not responding to the bigger baits like they did last week. We ended up with about 12 mixed bass spots and sands. 2 halibut.and A lizardfish. All were smaller models except for the big halibut we got fish from second street bridge to the fuel dock...water had cooled to 62 degrees with an overabundance of bait in the water

So nothing at king harbor? Well good thing you guys made the move. I'm heading to the LAB tomorrow morning so let's see how that goes.

I think it's darn near impossible to get a skunk at the LAB.  Good to hear that the day was saved.
