It would depend on the router I suppose to handle the load balancing. So it is possible. But your average home router wont do that.

Load balancing is not illegal..lol It wont actually double your speed, itll just distribute the network workload. But if i were to load balance, id get a Cisco RV042G-K9, bang for the buck.

not with wifi. Your machine would receive the wifi networks. in which case you cant load balance. If you had two dsl lines yeah thatll work with the router.
Ive never had to configure load balancing. Just fail over networks.

Load balancing is outbound and inbound traffic negotiation via your currently available bandwidth. Be if from one source or 20.
Bob in cubilcle 5 is always streaming music at his desk so I'm throwing his ass on the 3 meg DSL.
If his music skips a beat who cares.
Karl is downloading customer files to get jobs out so he is routed to the T1 so his crap gets through faster.

This dude and the rest of us want to increase our available capacity by combining available resources of connectivity.
Say I have 3 megs coming in at home that I am always connected to and my neighbor has 3 megs.
I "tested" the neighbors wifi and and able to connect to it.
I want to pool both of those connections together to give me 6 megs concurrently.

You can use Dropbox or Google file storage/sharing. How big are the files?

I don't know yet I was just seeing what is available. I almost never have to share stuff like that, but thanks!

Dropbox has a free trial. Im not sure if there are file size limitations. Google is good, but you know google, they want to take over the world.

You can even use Teamviewer, its a remote support app, but its free and it has a file transfer feature.
