Son was evacuated from work in Carlsbad.
He's headed to a safe place in Oceanside.
Son's mother says a woman at her work lost her home, saw it on TV.
Son says he saw flames/fire near Bautista Lagoon where some of you guys were talking about going.
From what I am hearing there are a total of there are at least 12 fires now.

Sorry to hear dlobo! The smoke is incredible down there, my uncle had to get a hotel next to work cause his house is in the smoke path.

Some people who were evacuated went to a hotel and the hotel caught on fire.

bad news for all down in San Diego and prayers go out to all . I have 2 friends fighting the fires down there right now and we wish everyone a safe return

But someone has a grudge against San Diego , that is for sure !!

Yep, supposed to attend my sons graduation from Cal State San Marcos this Saturday and it has been cancelled/postponed. Huge disappointment for a lot of other kids and family, especially the ones who flew in from out of town and can't change plans or afford to do it again.
