MOTHERS BEACH LAUNCH 6/10

So I made it out on the water again with board member david886720. We headed towards Tantalum restaurant working the docks. He hooked up first with a small Butt then hooked up with a few Sandies. Then it was my turn for a hook up I got a nice size Spottie off a 3" curly tail grub Texas rigged with a 1/4 ounce bullet weight. Then my grub just kept paying off I got two more nice spotties and a few sandies.  David886720 finished the night with the last fish of the night. I'll try to post up pics but I still can't figure it out. I followed LOLLYS instructions and I tried to upload but im lost wheres the easy button oh well just imagine how big they are

Nice report. I fish that area all the time and there is lots of eel grass in that area. You might also try right in front of Jack Nicol park, which is right next to the PCH bridge. There is a very easy channel to fish between the rocs and the docks. Lots of spotties there. Just be careful when fishing that entire area. In the afternoon the current starts pulluing really heavy in the Cerritos channel and pulls toward the bridge. If you go early morning or even late I don't think its a problem.
