one of those days....

OK so I plan a meeting with a client and it just happens to be in Dana Point. As I'm skimming thru Facebook I notice that on Helgrens Sport fishing page it says seabasd special 8pm to 8am. Departing the same day as my meeting. Bingo! I'll visit clients and shoot to helgrens right after and go fish all night and go straight to work . everything's in order I even leave my apt at 5am so I can fish all morning since my meeting started at 1pm. I arrive at. DP at 615am and start throwing lucky crafts pointer 100 in gold holograph shad. And I make a ton of casts hit all the spots for a flash of a fish. I only had one spot left so off I went and started casting over and over then I get slammed . legal cuda. Only problem I was not about to let that skunk slime near me before a meeting. So I shake him off. I cast again and slammed again another nice cuda. So I'm feeling good..meeting goes well and off to oceanside.... Stop at oceans 11 casino and turn 40 into 300.so I buy a new reel.Diawa sealine x 20sh.pull into helgrens parking at 5pm and my phone rings. Its the girl from Helgrens telling me the trip is canceled... Really bummed now. And I don't feel like doing that drive at rush hour. So 2 beers at the gentleman's club while I figure my plan. I end up in a shady motel that was over priced and thought I was going to fish a little bit at night. But I konked out and woke with just enough time to make it to work. With all the great things that happened. Not going on that trip killed my night... I was really looking forward to that....oh well one of them days

That really sucks man. I hate when stuff like that happens. At least you caught some fish, got a new set up and saw some    

Sounds like a fun trip, just didn't get to ride the boat.

Sucks about the cancelled trip but at least u got some cuda, has a golf meeting, won some money and had some eye candy , I'd say that was a good day.

A few beers at the Gentlemans club sounds cool to me
