Has anyone ever launched a float tube behind the stores on PCH & 2nd street Long Beach?  I see on google maps that there are stairs that go into the water and looks like you can go in the water. I'm not sure if there are signs there saying you can't enter the water. I'm sure that there are no fishing signs posted.

I usually launch from mothers beach or jack nichol park, but this is right where the action is.

I wanted to go check it out this morning but did not as I was out of time.  I tubed right near there.

I believe it is right behind Best Buy/walgreens
