AREA 51 SESH

So met up with David at 7 for a evening session at the spot kicked out and it was kinda slow at first then things picked up a bit with both of us landing a few fish. We entered 51 and I got a Sculpin on one rod and thought I was snagged up on something on the bottom on my other rod so I grabbed the line and pulled for about 2 minutes finally freeing it up so I started to reel in the line and to my surprise a decent sized octopus. Nice pics . Is that Sculpin poisonous? I went out on a charter a long time ago and got a whole lotta sculpin, but seemed like they were more red/pink. I remember the deckhands handled all the sculpin cuz they didn't want people to die on thier boat. haha. If you didnt have a lip gripper, how would you handle those things? Really good eatin those suckers were.

Yes they are poisonous and no you won't die...it'll just suck really bad! LOL You can thumb them like you would any other fish but just make sure you get a really good grip so he doesn't jump out of your hand and onto your lap
