Was getting ready to go fish the sunset bite and got a text from Dosomedirt that he wanted to fish again.  I knew he killed it this morning so I asked him to go to the same spot.  We met up and started kicking out working the rocks.  As the sun started setting we noticed a lot of birds were crashing all around us.  There were tons of baitfish swirling all around us.  I made a cast through them and got a couple strikes but didn't stick 'em.  Another cast and a slower retrieve and fish on.  A small calico.  We decided to keep throwing in the same area.  The bite turned really steady for about a half hour.  Next cast I got my first White sea bass ever!  Took some pics and then caught a couple more calico's and auto released what looked like a bonito tubeside.  Then another better grade WSB  Very Happy   Ended with a spottie and another calico.  Marty got slammed a couple times hard on the bigger plastic but somehow they didn't stick.  Big thanks to Marty as I was headed somewhere else to fish when he texted me.  Most fun I've had in a while.  Here's a few pic's of the two WSB

Thanks Jeff. Not sure. He pulled like a decent spottie but didn't measure or weigh him to get him back in the water quick. I'd guess 16-18"?
