Hi Guys:
My intro to float tube fishing was courtesy of a fishing guide in Montana. He put my buddy and me into tubes on a ranch pond where we had a ball catching Rainbows and Brookies. I was hooked. I got my first tube about 5 years ago - a Creek Company U Boat 2000. A couple of years later I got a second tube, a Creek Company ODC 420. Four of my friends have tubes now, and we fish here in CT on some of the smaller lakes for trout. In early spring, we take a trip up to Cape Cod to fish some of the kettle ponds for trout. You don't see many people back East in tubes, so we get our share of strange looks and questions. But enough people have seen us catch fish that now we get more serious questions. Anyway, I'm glad I found the group and I am looking forward to learning more about this aspect of our sport.
