Just wondering if anyone has used the Creek Company or Outcast inflatable seat for a Cumberland tube?   Went through 5 pages of related threads but none really explicitly saying they've used those inflatable seats in a Cumberland.  Not looking for a softer seat looking to have something that can pack down for travel.  I fish in a pontoon all day.  That Cumberland seat is the softer solution!  cyclops

VegasFishing went through dimension of his ODC420 in is video ([You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]) which are pretty much the same as the Cumberland. So I think that will work.  Waiting for my buddy to get back in town to measure his FishCat or I may try to see if they fit after we go out fishing sometime.

campbellrus ordered some for his Cumberlamd but I haven't found a post with his results ([You must be registered and logged in to see this link.])

Just looking for reviews of fit and finish and pros and cons of those inflatable seats in a Cumberland.

An Outcast seat and back fit perfect.  It will prove useful when the need to break down 3 sets of tubes, waders, fly rods and other gear for a long trip in a Chevy Tahoe arises again.  That Cumberland is a clunker in that respect.

Will keep the foam cushions installed most of the time when I meet up with buddies for local fishing because it's quicker to get on the water but, I will either chamfer the front edge or get a waterproof orthopedic comfort seat as a topper. The backside didn't hurt as much as the hamstring area.  Ironically, my hard plastic pontoon seat gives me no trouble at all.  I think the reason is that it's ergometrically molded instead of flat like the foam.

I had MAJOR butt pain problems when I first bought my Cumberland (1st time float tubing, ever). The surface was too hard and I couldn't fish for more than a couple of hours. I tried a gel pad, foam, etc. but nothing worked. I even changed seating posture several times and nothing helped. I was ready to give up until the pain magically stopped and I didn't even notice. Maybe I just needed extra time to adjust; who knows! I think I'm gonna buy the Outcast seat and back now just as a backup, in case pains comes back. Good to know it fits!
