Hi...I have a pump that I use to inflate my pontoons, however, it is bulkier that I would like to pack around the lake for an emergency air solution.  I was just wondering what pump others are taking on the water.  Thanks!

So I don't use a small pump for emergencies that is not to say that I am right though. I have seen people use both the K-Pump which is I think is the best idea. I have also seen the simplest idea being a piece of plastic tubing from Home Depot, and you can add air simple by blowing into the tube attached to the float tube valve.

Hello Carla,

I use the big pumps..im thinking those ones they use to blow up camping beds...battery operated ones, those seem to be alot smaller then the pumps...

How many people carry a pump on there tube just out of interest? Being a newbie it's something I'd overlooked but one of my bladders does seem to lose pressure throughout the day, it is however one above water that doesn't affect the float, a tube would be a good solution for a bit of lung power though
