4th of July Weekend?

ok so we have 4th of July on a Monday this year and I have Friday night - Monday off. Anyone feel like meeting up for some harbor tubing? night time batray hunting? some fresh water bassing? or some surf fishing?

I'm up for anything and open to suggestions... just not tubing a harbor on the 4th, boaters be crazy that day! buuut the T&A at the harbors and beaches is in full effect

I'm suppose to hit NPH this weekend with some friends for some night time batray action. Not sure what day or if this is still gonna happen. I'll keep you posted

I'm hitting NPH again on Thursday, might be up for the LAB or Huntington on Saturday but boat traffic is going to be nutz!
Brian how about a trouting trip? Jenk's and the Santa Ana are supposed to get stocked this week???

Dano & Ed: Sounds good guys! I have all my gear at home for mudding now so I can go at any time. But tubing I need a bit of a heads up to get my stuff from storage.

Flyfishing: T&A is always abundant on holiday weekends in NPH and at the beach. Especially since it supposed to be in the 90's this weekend.

Fishslayer: I am kind of done with trouting for a bit, like to target a few other areas and species while the weather right. I need to put some of my other tackle to use besides all my trout gear. And can't be away all weekend have some friend's BBQ's to hit up.

There is still enough time to get a family outing stunt double to cover for you Saturday so you can fish. And it's supposed to be in the 90's this weekend so Palm Springs that should mean 100's.

If you can't make it means more fish for me and Ed , but you will be missed!

Just an FYI I'll be in Dana Point tubing the am on Saturday....then the half day boat that leaves at noon the same day

AHHHHHH, My Jedi mind powers were rendered useless on this female!! Sadly I will not be able to attend the function. Brother is going to sit the dog while I sweat my ass off. gonna take the dad and brothers out for some lake fishing at huntington central park on saturday. not the best spot in the world but i hear the catfish and bass have been biting. hopefully i heard right. i might also try tewinkle park in costa mesa. the water is dirty as heck, but some of the fisherman tell me theres bass out there and everyone i've talked to practices catch and release. i actually get to practice using lures for the first time on freshwater. wish i could meet up with some of you guys, get some pointers but i'll have to wait. work fri, sun, mon.

Dano: Good luck on the bassing/golfing, you should totally bring atleast one rod and some crank baits and see what you can hook up on.
