You sure excel at float tube fishing the harbors. Landing big uns' and capturing the doors on digital media for all of us to enjoy.

Dan I love the rockfish. That rockfish is called a grass rockfish and usually come into our area during the winter

It was the coloring that threw me off.

Have you caught a Copper Rockfish before?
In my fish ID pic's the Grass Rockfish appeared much darker in color. Perhaps they vary in color.

Yeah, they vary in color. Some can be light like the one you caught or darker like the one I caught a year ago. I have never caught the copper rockfish but the fish you caught looks like a lightly colored grass rockfish. No prob maybe one day we can fish together. Your my hero going out there in the early morning fishing in the cold.
