2/25/18 Huntington Harbor

I kicked out during the peak low and rode back with the afternoon wind and incoming tide.  Stuck a mini hali within my first 5 minutes in the water.  The next hour was slow with only a couple of missed hits.  Once the current got moving, things picked up and it turned out to be a fun session.  Total:  1 Sandie, 2 Spotties, and 2 Halibut.  The second one taped at 20”.  At first glance I thought I had my first legal for 2018.  I told my wife we were 2” short of ceviche and fish tacos!

Great job.........I'll be out there Wed, 2/29, launching around 1000, taking the out going tide to the flats/bridge. Good bite from 1100 to 1300 hours..........GT

GT - I would love to join you, but I have to work. I've been wanting to fish that area, but the tides/winds haven't matched up with my availability yet.
