Fishing Thursday on the City of Long Beach

This isn't a float tube report. I took my stepson fishing on Thursday. We took a 1/2 trip on the City of Long Beach. They have a deal for the summer where kids fish free with a paid adult. It was his tenth bday and he wanted to go out on the boat. It was a beautiful day on the water. The surface action stopped so we went on a sculpin trip. he caught his limit of five and even caught a couple for his cousins who also went. He even caught one that probably would have been jackpot if I would have put him in. That happens the time you dont get in the jackpot you catch the big one on the boat...LOL You live and you learn. Teaching him some stuff before i take him on the tube. I found my old browning predator tube that I will let him use when he is ready.
