Made it out to LAB for a ninja sessioin. Me and a buddy met up with floatingbassturd and his friend. Fishing was good and the weather was nice. We did our normal kick around trhe bay there. Launched from 69th street and fished by the yacht club there. Floatingbassturd and his friend had a couple bites there before we got on the water, I caught a little spottie at the opening of the yatch club there. We kicked across the channel to our favorite spot there and fished the rocls and docks for a bit. Caught a few more fish on the 1/8 HUB in red crab, highlighted by a 14 inch spottie. The only legal spottie this night. We kicked down to the marina there and then across to Naples to fish the docks there. Caught a few more fish there highlighted by a nice sandbass that went 15-16 inches, didn't get a good measurement or picture as this fish kicked his way off the hook and in the process left his tongue or part of his gill plate on the hook. Never seen that before. Kicked back to the rocks again and finished the night there. My buddy caught 6 fish on 8 cast that last spot as i couildn't buy a bite. Overall it was a great night on the water. We ended the night about 1 am. I had a total of 15 fish and my buddy had about the same with that last fury of his. floattingbassturd had a three or four i believe and one nice one, the fish were just not committing to his bait. He had a lot of short bites. All in all a great night and got to meet a good dude from the forum. Tight lines!

Thanks for showing us around last night Toby. I snagged 2 more by the wall on the way out and overall failed to convert at least a dozen bites. Once I went to the bigger hook I started to hook em but it was already late. Still had fun and look forward to fishing again sometime. I gotta get you out on some big largemouth bass though. Lol.  I know how to find those very well. A little fish porn for you .

I will have to take you up on the green bass invite. We will see what happens with work.

You can come anytime we go out at night. To be honest fishing LAB both in the day and night, night time seems to be more productive for me. Maybe less pressure and definitely less boat traffic.

Thank you for the invite.
Because I still work during the day, it would probably have to be a Friday or Saturday night in order for me to hook up with you in the dark hours.
