Got a 15' bass boat in the water in HB harbor. Need to get it out asap and I don't have a trailer and money is super tight. Looking for help to just get it from there to Santa Fe Springs.

Anyone able to do a solid?

I'll ask some of the boat guys that come into my work but that is a tough find.

Go buy a harbor freight trailer, drag the boat onto it, get it to your destination then return the trailer... just tell them the trailer didn't work out or you felt it was a bad design and you don't know how it got so rusty lol.

Me and Leigh were fishing in HB harbor on Friday night. Eccentric rich dude came by and gave us a bass boat. No trailer. No sale. Just gave it to us. We just have to get it out of the water. Options are presenting themselves. Can always use more.

I think he just gave you a retired drug running boat! j/k

Before you invest too much time and energy into it you might want to run the numbers on it and see if it has been, needs to be or is still registered. Sometimes if you pick up a boat like that and try to register it DMV will hit you with all the back fees and penalties from the previous owner/owners.

Or you might need info or a signature from him which would be good to know he is willing to participate in before you take the boat.
