D you take pictures in your cellphone of the fish you catch. If so have you looked at the details of each picture you have taken.

I am curious as I looked last night and it shows a google Map with markers (location) of every fish I have have caught in my phone. I use a LG just wondering if you do this and what do you use as far as a cellphone is concerned.

I have been known to bust-out my iPhone S Max out of it's water-proof protector to take a picture now-and-then. (when my camera battery died).
I turned-off the GPS function in my phone, no Google Maps markers showing up.

For the last 12 years, I have owned and have used a Panasonic Lumix HD hand-held water-proof camera for snorkeling, surf fishing to my most recent sport of float tube fishing.
I turned-off the GPS function in my camera as well.

Was this response of any help?

I use a go pro knock off to take pics and the rare video. I keep my cell phone in a water proof box and sometimes pull the phone out for pics .

I hope this helps

Hi ya bodfish,

It’s too bad that you didn’t at least purchase a cheap compact camera to record all your undocumented PB catches.
I would’ve liked to have seen some of those pictures. 👍
