PS ... the Life Guards (the marina security guards) rushed me; in their official red & white boat at 8:50 AM, kicked me out! lol

water is like glass out there! were there any transport boats moving around? I remember GT got into a great bite of fish when the boat was docked and running a few years ago.

Did the lifeguards kick you out from inside again?

being out there is already great, the bites and fish are just icing on the cake.

Sucks the kicked you out but you got sometime. So did you complete your day out side near the beach?

Yes, the American Marine transport vessels were arriving and  docking approximately every 1.5 hrs to 2 hours.

YUP!
From the inside again after getting a good hour of fishing in! Ha ha ha!

I did remember the trench that GT was dragging through when the boats arrived and I did repeat as well yesterday using my 3.4 oz Deeper Pro+ fishfinder.

Ya know the old fisherman’s saying ..... you should’ve been here yesterday! lol

I ended up meeting a really nice fellow by the name Walter that was surf fishing using a 5/8oz Krocodile lure w/ green strip.
So I spent the rest of my day pretty close to Walter, talking and sharing information while casting my drop-shot Berkeley Gulp 4” Watermelon Minnow w an 10” drop against his Krocodile for my next halibut.
Neither one of us landed a fish but we both received many nice short bites.
