Rides higher than ODC
Heavier due to PVC but maneuvers well
Able to kneel, stand on rigid floor, keeps but out of the water but pretty firm.  Added a stadium cushion on top of kayak seat.
Rod holders and tray transfered over from ODC with minimal tinkering.
Plenty of D rings for net, boca, tackle bag, bungie for tray, etc

Like the modifications. Looks good love my Zonker too. Backpack straps would be nice. Anybody have any thoughts on that

With these types of boats it's easy to add glue on D-Rings. Order a few get some good PVC glue and add your own what ever or backpack setup. I may do the same to mine.

Here is what the Dave Scadden company told me about attaching the rings to the Zonker. Thanks for the message
.
Simply apply locktite vinyl adhesive to the boat and to the D ring. Wait 5 minutes then press them together. Apply even pressure to insure complete adhesion.
Let it cure overnight and you will be good to go.

Locktite is available at Home Depot.

How are you attaching the table? Is it just resting loosely on the tube?

Love to hear what you think when you put a trolling motor on it.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] thanks for the report. I haven't had a chance to get my new Zonker out yet. I got it all set up with my fish finder and bought new wading boots and fins. Then before ice off I hurt my knee. Had the MRI today. 🤬
Thanks for the stadium cushion idea. I figure my first time out I will use both the oars and the fins to see which I like best.
By the way, in a couple of your pictures it looks like you have 2 Zonkers. Am I right? 😁

I got the 9' detonator last year after I sold my Colorado pontoon to fish with a trolling motor.

Just got the 5' zonker to replace my long in the tooth ODC 420.
