Well after 5 weeks off of fishing due to some health issues and family stuff I finally got back on the water this week.
I fished last Sunday the 30th at El Capitan and managed only 1 largemouth before the temperature drove me off the lake at 10:30 AM. I think it was a slow day for everyone.
Today I fished Murray and had more success. Got a frog fish just after sun up, 2 on green pumpkin Senkos, 1 on a jig, and one on a paddletail swim bait. Nothing too big but fun never the less. The water level is finally coming up at Murray - it had been extremely low for several months. Unfortunately it is pretty stained.
