Dana Point hali/J street report (SD)

As far as the hali report: tubed Dana Point a few days ago for a toad sculpin, tons of lizard fish and a nice flatty. I have a really sick video i was making but my computersucks and every time I open that particularproject it force closes....hopefully i can figure it out because i pit a lot of work into it...

Just got back from the j-street Marina here in CV and it was a below average night. Managed about 5 fish and lost a bunch more.....smaller fish im assumingbbecause i had a hell of a time trying to hook them. I switched to a small bait and landed a nice 14 inch model. I go back to the T&C swimgrubaand manage a nice 12-13 incher. All in all it was a cold windy night but the fish are out there so go get them!


Any idea on how to get this video editor to work? All i have to do is hit "make movie" and im done....alltthe editing is done just need to add music which i can do on youtube.....thanks.

Thanks...im hoping i can get this program to work though. Im gonna try putting the footage on my external hard drive and editing it from there....so the main computer isnt completely tasked out with crap. If not im gonna probably have to start all over again...that would suck.

i have never done any type of videoing or editing but i know that takes some time and thats going to suck if you have to start over

Nothing too big....still love tubin at night though so it made it worth it!

Nice fish. Have yet to launch at night, but it's on the list. What program are you using for editing? I know premier takes up a lot of resources so I usually shut down everything, but that to get it to work faster.

Im using Pinnacle Studio 15 ultimate....sometimes it lags a lot but for this video it was PERFECT until the very end. How do you shut down other programs? Like with task manager or just exit out of them?


Night tubing is so fun...just wait till the summer when your wearing waders and no shirt....so relaxing.

Just use task manager, it probably won't help if the app crashes though. I would try and remove the app re-install and then try again. Just make sure you save your file first.

Ill try that LGHT thanks. Ive opened. Other projects since and it works fine, but when i open that particular project it crashes. I think im gonna just start from scratch today. Maybe half way i can export the video and work on the second half after and combine them at the end....
