Just cut and test assembled my pvc rod frame I copied from the sticky on here about advanced float tube rigging. Trying to anticipate changes I'm going to want, but having only had it in my pool I'm still flying by the seat of my pants. Anticipating a fishin buddy in the near future, so adding an extension for that, and probably moving the rod holders behind me instead of on the side. Any thoughts? Either way, hoping to be on the water in the next few days before I have to go back to work.

This works for me. It's all PVC, with a union joint, so I can adjust it, remove it, etc.
If I'm not using the FF, I can use this as an adjustable rod holder.

That's exactly what I was looking for! A couple more tee's and a coupler and it's read to glue up.

The connection down to the 1/2" union joint required a reducer bushing or some connection like that. Just look around home depot, and you'll see what I mean.
