In our togiak float tubes we have a rear mesh platform. Trouble is that it sits down in the water, which makes putting stuff there difficult.
How do you folks keep things dry in the back storage area?
We seen an attached platform on the buck bags roughneck tube. Would this work? and could a person get one to put on our tubes do you think.
Thanks for any ideas

I don't know about a platform of course that would be a cool idea to come up with. I on my last trip ended up using a dry bag to keep my stuff dry in the back.

Some people place five gallon buckets back there and put their stuff inside the bucket.

I gave up on trying to keep stuff dry on my Togiak. I'm sure a dry bag would work well though.

My PFD vest has a couple of pockets, between that & the armrest pockets, I keep enough stuff dry to support me for a few hours on the tube. I also bought a small Plano waterproof case to stash my wallet & phone in while I'm floating.

I noticed the other day that the Cumberland also sits low in the water and the mesh tray gets wet, the bucket sound like a good idea as it would also support the back of the seat.

Cumberland sits low but not as long as the other tubes.
