SOLO SESSION AGAIN, NEWPORT Harbor 4/17/2014

Hello all..... hope all is well...

well here is quick report of yesterday at Newport Harbor...

launched from the CG Station at 5 and hit the balboa docks again for nothing till about 715pm   ...only picked up 2, lots of bites and short strikers but no stickers!..till i caught this, then i caught a small fish, it was chrome, about 8-9 inches....i was told a its a queen fish but dont know....it was small so no pic...only pic of the sandbass!!  , this was my skunkbuster then pulled the chrome one.....then got off the water, sorry for the dark pic......

This is what it looked like when i launched...choppy as ish!

Here is a pic of that little chrome one...this isnt the one i caught but my buddy has caught them as well too, does anyone know what type of fish this is

WTG Bro , on the Sand Bass and that Crome fish does look like a Queen Fish I used to catch them off the pier in Oceanside back in the day .. Awesome that you got out on the water and caught a couple .

Thanks bro and very cool...another species on the board lol....and yeah it was good to get out, little windy towards the end but all good when u dont get skunked
