Did a search here for patch kits and only came up with ones for waders.  Looking for inner tube patch kits.

My buddy got one from the General Store at Twin Lakes in Mammoth when he needed one. Said the patch is still working great.  Only problem, he just can't remember which one it was. Any better than others?  Any recommendations?  I know this fine crowd has answers for me.

For rubber inner tubes just use a regular bicycle patch kit. For vinyl and urethane bladders use Tear-Aid type B. Tear-Aid is a instant stick on patch.

Cool thanks. Yeah, just wanted to have some spare for the bladder.

Running to BPS later today but I see they only have type A though.

Vinyl is the matierial most float tube bladders are made of and not rubber . Loon make a good repair kit but you can do this as well . Because vinyl is used in so many products these days you can find it nearly anywhere . The only difference is the strength of the matierial out there . Stadium seat cushions tend to be of a heavy grade and you can find them in thrift stores and at yard sales for next to nothing . Get one and cut large sheets out of them as tou never know what size the damaged area may be you have to make an emergency repair on . Team this vinyl with a product in the hardware stores in the glue and epoxy sealer section called Shoe Goo and you wont go wrong . That stuff works great for patching and dozens of other repairs . It dries relatively fast and sticks to anything .
