Alamitos 10/19

What up tubers! It's been awhile but I recently started working again and it's 6days a week. Well I finally got to hit the waters today with squidy. We fished alamitos from 6 to 10:30am. The fishing was slow but still had a good time just being out. Got to break in my new/used teramar with a Reebs lures bolt thrower in the spotted Tobasco color... Thanks for reading

That's CHOMPS for you. Always on the blades. Let me tell you, have inspired me to work the blade more. Out on sat at the gathering. The bite went stale around 10am I was getting desperate cause my go to baits weren't getting touched. I tied on a gold blade and felt a tug like nothing before. Slammed 3 times landed 3. They were not legal but felt like a train when they hit. Just gotta be patient when you work those. I found out the best retrieve is nice and steady where you can feel the blade flapping. Watch out and be ready cause you gonna get SLAMMED!!! Nice report Chomps

Thanks fellas! It felt good to be out again I wouldn't even care if I got the skunk that's how happy I was to be able to wet a line lol. Lolly the teramar is awesome but the action is a little to fast for me to use it for a bolt only rod. Hers a vid from mission bay when me and squid was on a good blade bite. Squidy is in the front.. i tossed my spinner out for a while they might not have liked my colors but i've heared good things about them. now i have seen good things about them.

BTW Chomps, what kind of set up are you running for your spinnerbait?

I've thrown mine with 10lb Izor in the past with success, but I feel like the 10lb isn't tough enough for the job. lol Spinners can get pricey if you lose the consistently. Plus, I don't want to leave them in a spotties' mouth or in the bays. Thanks.
