First SALT Session of the 2015, 4 species! NPH

Hey everyone!

Hope everyone is good! just a quick report from NPH this past weekend.

Met up with Two2 and Menyo around 6am at Balboa Island

AO: Balboa Yacht Club all the way to almost the jetty!  
Time in: 6am
Out: 12pm
Fish Count: Landed 5, sandie, spottie, barracuda, 2 lizard fish

So we shot out of park with menyo catching up to us 15 or so min later....

decided we would hit the boats in front of balboa island and go from there...my first one came at 630ish, smallies but my first salt fish of the year and the skunk is off

then about 7:21am land this for my 2nd

Re-rig and land this 8 min later at 7:29am

It then slowed down for me and didnt land anything till like 10ish, 2 lizard fish, no pics...fugly fish hahahah

Anyways, thanks to TWO2 for the invite and Menyo for joining us....

Nice report Tony!

I ended the day with 3 spotties, 1 calico and a lizard, Slow day for sure but ill take that over a skunk any day. It was nice fishing and talking wiht you TonyG and Menyo.

Thanks big Jeff, youll have to come out and do a night seesion! or might have to meet you at HH, never been and want to try out lots of new waters this year...

Honestly I was gonna be out there and at the last minute decided to bass fish with replacement reel (Citica) I finally received back from Shimano so I hit the local park(Thornton) in my neighborhood for a couple hrs. managed two under 12" LMB, learned they spook real ez so after I slowed my hunt is when they hit the 4.5" phenix curly tail soft bait in natural brown I rigged carolina style

Im gonna do a night session reel soon Tony!

Nice job on the multi-species Tony. Cudas have evaded me on every trip. That's the one species on my list.
