Saltwater VS Freshwater Battle of tubes 2016

Thanks Jerdon. I have my kids in sports and now somehow I'm coaching baseball now for two teams and I play softball so I have no time for fishing.

I have been there brother and its a lot of fun. Raised 3 kids and all the activities that go with it. Once they get to team sports it is hard to find time for the water.

They all moved on there own, and now I'm back chasing the fish.

Every once in awhile a person runs across something that is just plain cool. That's what the tournament was for me last year. The idea that a fishing tournament can be international is just plain cool. Digital photography is what makes this possible.

I love the concept of an international fishing community and it is this forum that makes that possible.

But fishing buddies have been getting together to go wet a line forever. Meet up at the lake or on the beach to enjoy fishing and bond. Naturally we tend to do things the way we have always done them. Which explains why the majority of activity centers around southern Ca.

I think many of us need to embrace the vision that Jeff has created with the FTFF. I know that personally I've had to wrap my mind around the idea. The more success we have with national and international events encourages sponsors which in turn benefits all of the FTFF members.

I hesitated to volunteer for team Captain because I thought it wouldn't be possible from my location. This is the type of thinking that gets in the way of success.

If the team and Jeff will have me I would like to volunteer as Freshwater Team Captain.

I'll be fishing on an old gravel pit pond/lake. This is of course very unfortunate for the Salt shaker team. The Bass will be in a feeding frenzy in my little lake right at the time of the tournament.

I almost feel sorry for the Salty team...almost.

Just remember; don't open the bag as you would then have to measure each one individually. Conduct the measurement from corner to corner and you'll be taking trophy selfies faster than you can say, "I'm hooked!"
