contest and rules.
2 teams of 10 Float Tubers from each Team (Saltwater Killers and Team Freshwater) will go head to head in their own waters on May 28th from 6am till 2pm. This will be a contest of who can catch the most fish on the day. I will provide a code on the morning of the contest by text to each team member Captain for each member to use that day. The code can be written on your hand and will need to be seen in each picture of your catch to count for your team the day of the event.
Team Freshwater will be fishing for Large Mouth Bass, and each bass will need to be 10” or more to count for the overall total.
Saltwater Killers will be fishing for Spotted Bay Bass and each bass will need to be 10” or more to count for the overall total.
Unlike the last few times we did this event, you can all fish different locations if you like so you might want to plan for this (this is not just a California thing). Each team will be responsible to text me the picture of their catch to my phone and I will keep track of the overall total.

Life always seems to have rapids and line tangles. But even the MIA eventually become IA.

Looks like team Freshwater still needs members. If there is an opening I would love to do it again this year. Mother Nature robbed us last year.

This will of course be bad news for the salty team and I feel bad about it. So the contest won't be so one-sided I am putting together some how-to videos for the salt team.

So...let me know if I'm in.

I think bigfish just made this interesting guys.

The weather made the tournament interesting last year. The Saltwater team did a great job for sure. This year will be even tougher. Last year one of the Saltwater members discovered a really hot fishing spot. To give himself a slight advantage he marked an X on the side of his tube so he could find the same spot this year.
