Solo Session In LAB, Sun 12-23-2018.
This was my 67th Float Tube session for the 2018 Season.
I always like to take a few minutes before each session to calm my thoughts and to remember to give thanks, for being so BLESSED for having such good health and for this opportunity of being here today ... enjoying the water, all of it's abundance and to take-in the breath taking sunrise of each morning's session .... amen![You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
Location: LAB (Long Beach)
Duration: 05:30 hrs until 09:30 hrs (4 hrs)
Sun Rise: 06:54 hrs
Sun Set: 16:49 hrs, the days should start getting a bit longer as each new day arrives.
Personal Attire: board shorts
Moon Phase: Waning Gibbous
Gray Light: 06:00 hrs, except I never saw the sun because it was always behind the fog or the dense clouds.

Air temperatures during session: foggy damp sky's with temps from 51 deg to 62 deg.
Water temperatures: 60 deg

Wind: 06:00 hrs 2 mph SSW, 12:00 hrs 2 mph SW.
Water clarity: translucent green
Large Leaf Kelp Beds: none to report
Water Visibility: 7 - 8 ft
Tidal Coefficient: Dropping ... (CE) 95 in the morning, this is a still a high average and considered a stable rate.

SP Dan's fish count this morning: 7-fish today, 2-species and one legal to report today.
All fish were landed in the first 1.5 hrs of the session, zero fish landed in the remaining 2.5 hrs of the session ... but I did get in a lot of much needed practice time casting and some great leg exercising as well by just kicking around.
