I have kept a very detailed ledger of every single session with all my fish counts since 2011, I'll check-it to see which harbor has been producing the most Spotty's for me lately.

I also intend on doing some extensive Spotty RECON work in a few harbor areas that I haven't fished in a while to see how those areas are doing, as far as producing Spotty's these days.

I think that we need to locate and share; with our "TEAM", the areas where the Spotty's are holding up in the greatest numbers. Just my inexperienced 2-cents!

We have until the 29th to locate them.

Personally, once I've located some of them, I'll share with everyone the day before, so's not to put too much fishing pressure on those areas the day before the fresh water team gets .... SMACKED DOWN!!. "OUCH"!!


So ... I had better get to doing some serious RECON fishing!

Thanks for offering your extensive knowledge of the harbors Sp Dan! I only have limited experience in Huntington and Newport harbors. Have mainly finished LAB. Ill do my best to get out ahead of time and share info with you.

My thoughts exactly. I would like to see where everyone plans to fish. Then make sure we aren't all congregated in the same one or two spots. After that we can scout out the spots we want to fish ahead of time.

OK, guys we still have room on the lists for team members of Freshwater and Saltwater.  This is a one-day event that will be March 30th.  Please know that on this day there will be a gag order out on each team.  No posting or talking about your day on the water.  The Captains will be collecting all pictures from team members and emailing them to me to count and determine the winners for the event.  Join up guys its simple fun.  Saltwater vs Freshwater FTFF Smackdown 2019.

I disagree. It's about beating the other team.

Talk between team members is the right way to go about it so they can maximize their fish catches.

I'm in Arizona so I don't think I have to worry about fishing the same water as anybody on the fresh team.

My 3 biggest bass...8.3, 8.1 and 7.2 were all caught late morning/early afternoon....just saying.

The good news is we have a group that can catch fish. Size doesn't matter in this tournament...it's numbers..and I have the perfect lake for that
