I had a dink fest for sure. Ended up going to Roosevelt lake and caught over 25 fish but only had 8 or 9 that made it over 10 inches. The other lakes had really bad wind predicted so I decided last minute to make the extra long drive and it was worth it. Great job by everyone.

Logan, great job with your Saltwater Killers, I'm sure on a different event day the outcome could have been reversed. Thanks for signing up to compete, without you guys willing to commit this event couldn't be.

I want to express my thanks to Team Freshwater, ya'll are a great bunch of guys. Thanks for making my job easy, i'd do it again if ya'll will let me.

Hey thank you fish stalker for jumping in and working hard. There will be another event this year so make sure you are ready everyone.

Cant wait. Hopefully it will be when we have warmer weather.

That is the plan for sure warmer weather will be the next Saltwater vs Freshwater.

I would like to personally congratulate everyone on the FW Team for an effort well done!

I was personally able to land 30 fish and a PB 25” barracuda out of the nine Barri’s that I landed but I just couldn’t get my Spotted Bay Bass numbers to improve.
Oh well ... that’s fishing!    lol

There were a lot of issues that were dealt with during the event such as one person fishing in the freezing snow and another person dropping his battery and trolling motor into the lake and then getting an extremely hurt back due to it! Or the fish just were not on the chew!

But all-in-all .... it was a great event and thank you to everyone who found the time to participate in the fun!

Congrats Dan on your PB Barracuda, I'd love to be able to catch a variety of saltwater fish. That day is one I won't forget for a long time.

I just read through. Fishstalker, you're nuts man!!! 34 degrees?!?! It was like in the 60's when we launched and 80's at the end of the day but I was still cold in the morning .34 degrees I'd have rolled over and gone right back to sleep .Hats off to you my man. You are definitely not a poser .die hard fisherman!!!

I saw the most interesting pontoon out on the water during the contest. This guy was trolling near me but his pontoon was powered by pedals and he was using one oar as a rudder. It was the coolest toon I have seen. Anyone see anything like this? Just wondering if anyone new the model? Just thought I would share.

I agree with Floatingbassturd but I wouldn’t get out of bed. What do you guys wear inside your waders when it’s cold? I don’t mind fishing when it’s cold as long as I can stay warm and dry.

Bob, they are are a true blast to land on a 4 to 8 pound stick.
The bigger they are, the harder they pull and fight!
Legal size for a Barri is 28 inches.

I hope that someday you will have the opportunity to hook into one, I would actually pay to see the smile on your face!
