Good luck to both teams be safe have fun and let the fish fall where they may. Please remember no conversations from the teams during the event and no posting of your catches until I have the totals counted. I will give the details on Sunday before the afternoon.

I received my event code this evening from my team captain, my gear is freshly re-tied and packed away in my car, my alarm is set and I’m ready to give it my very best tomorrow!

I hope that all you freshwater guys are all geared up and ready to go as well because I happened to know that all of us saltwater guys are ready to give it our very best effort tomorrow for the 2019 SW vs FW Smackdown bragging rights.

I would personally like to wish everybody the very best of luck tomorrow and please remember to be safe out there!

I'm all geared up and ready to go. Broke one of 2 new rods doing some practice fishing today trying to feel out the new gear. Luckily I have a few backups and Loomis has a liftime warranty on their GLXs. Not sure if anyone else fishes their stuff but this is the second one I've had break on me without justifiable cause. They sure don't make them like they use to.

Good luck to all! I love fishing both freshwater and saltwater but have to say I'm rooting for Saltwater because it's my local stomping grounds!

Pictures just starting to role in impressive so far.

It was a fun day. Fishing was tough in lab. Fished hard and managed a few. Hopefully the other saltwater guys had some luck out there.

I'm excited, I survived the most uncomfortable fishing from a tube experience a guy could have. Temp 34. Snow showers until 10am. Once I got into fish I didn't keep my gloves dry that led to can't keep the hands warm even with hot hands. My hands were so cold my finger tips were white and hurt, they throbed and stung so bad I had to go to the truck and blow warm air for 20min until I could continue, by then the snow stopped but all the gear is sopping wet. Anyhow it's all good I had a great day fishing, hope y'all had fun.

Well I learned something today. I am far better at fishing for quality not quantity.

Fish Stalker I give it to you man. Getting out there in that weather and getting it done.

We made a change due to heavy winds and ended up at Puddingstone in San Dimas. I overslept and hit the water about an hour late. I'm not a fan of the "Pudd" but it turned out great for me. Best day fishing there so far. Any day on the water is better than one elsewhere. Bob

I hope everyone had a great day and got home safe. Now we await the results

OK guys so you all know I am in Arizona my father had a 3rd surgery and I need to be here for this one. I got emails today and am looking them over. I will have results tomorrow please bear with me Family first but I will not forget to put out the final results. Thanks, guys I agree to family first but this helps as well takes my mind off things and give me a break.

So here we go First I want to once again thanks to the Captains for stepping up and running both groups that take guts.  I would like to say we have a truly dedicated float tuber here with us as fish stalker almost froze his fingers off in 34-degree weather and snow flurries as he fishing in KS for his time.  And I thought I was a die hard I guess now LOL.  

From my counts, I think fish stalker had the most with 13 as well and the biggest was with BobBfishin

Team Freshwater landed 27 fish
Saltwater Killers Landed 13 fish

So Congrats to Team Freshwater for laying the Smackdown for 2019 both teams did great but Team Freshwater had the better hand gets the honors and bragging rights till next event.  Thanks to everyone for being involved and doing there best.

Congratulations Team Freshwater! Awesome job! Well done team Saltwater. We gave it our best. Awesome fish caught on both sides. I had a blast fishing and hope everyone else had a great time.

Congratz to all who competed.

This was a fun event and the trash talk was fairly fun. I really want to give a special thanks to Fishstalker for organizing the team. And our captain from Kansas really carried the day.
