You caught those huh Jordan? Keen eye. I got them from a fishing swap meet from an old time float tuber who told me he only uses them and those were his third pair. I get lucky with finds like those at times.

Great video Alakai. Surprised you didn't get a fish on that paddle tail grub. That thing looked like a fish killer. I like the experimentation with different baits. I am heading out tomorrow night and plan on throwing some chatterbaits and jigs. I have had some luck on the jigs with swimbait trailers. You should do a video on those style baits in the future. I would love to see that. Great report as always. Tight lines.

I actually have a line of stuff to try out. Yesterday catches me up to just before Fred Hall, next up is another bait from a company called "Bass in the Hood" over here in LA. In the end, I should have a decent idea of what to enter spawn and summer with.

I have seen those jigs you mentioned with like the craw trailers and the chunk baits, looks interesting but thought that would be more of a summer bait when the fish are interested in actually chasing their food, lol. I am sure I will end up getting a few at some point.
