So I got out today to fish my usual spot HH out of Seabridge Park. Launch at 6:30 and off the water at 10:30. It was a slow outgoing tide and hit the bottom about the time I was heading out.
Use the Gigbob again today (Just the top part) and lures of choice - Big Hammer 3", Blacksmithbaits Shrimp tail, and Swimming Dragon from Crossman Lures.
The Big Hammer has been the biggest producer for the last 4 trips out. These lures just work always have some in your tackle bag ready to go.
Started out slow not sure it was going to be productive at all. Skunkbuster came after about 30 minutes on the water. From there the bite was consistent I landed 11 total with 3 that slipped my thumb before I could take a picture. Must fun for the day was the YFC that I caught on the fly rod. What a fight that was, I will be using my fly rod more often now, I just need to work on getting the flies down in the water. but fishing a streamer on the surface with those small boils is a blast.
