So now I have two fish cat 4 and I already made one rod holder for the first one but found it a little big for storage. Looking into other ways to hold the rods in place, that would not be so bulky. Being that this other Fish cat 4 is for friends or my lady's little brother i need to make it light. Also looking for a good way to keep water cold. Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Just get one of the cheap 3-4 plastic holders and strap it to the ring underneath. I think I paid $10 for mine and had it setup in 5 min.

As far as the water I have a waterproof pouch behind the seat and usually put 1-2 packs of blue ice and camel pack that came with the tube. The camel pack has a long hose that goes around the seat and sits just next to my waist.

Both of my tube fishing buddy's have Fish Cats. Mine is on the way (bought it on Sunday evening). They both have 4 pole holders made from 1" PVC. These work great. I am in the process of building mine now. I will try to post some pictures when it is done. I need the Fish Cat to arrive to finalize the build. I am adapting my Eagle fish finder for use on the tube as well. The plan is to clip the transducer on one of the rod holders and mount the display on a removable fitting. I currently use a sealed rechargeable 12V gel battery. I plan on putting the battery in a dry bag behind the seat. This can also power LED lights for night visability.

I use the commercial single rod holders that have a strap that goes around the tube. Light, and has no bulk. I store everything in a dive bag and don't like to hunt for anything essential. Yes I have forgotten my pump and yes you can inflate it with only your mouth. Never want to do that again at 8000 ft.

Sounds like you got it dialed in, post some pics when it's done.
