Through these past few years of learning the sport of bass fishing, my fishing reels gone through 100's of fishing line brands/manufactures.

Lately I've been stuck on P-line's Fluorocarbon line. I first started using the 2lb test for ultralight setups, and shortly after used a heavier test for bassin'.

What sold me on p-line fluoro is that the line has very little line memory.

I like P-line too but have now turned onto Hi-Seas Black widow co-polymer line. Try it out. Casts ultra smooth and very low memory.

I have P-line right now on my reel also, 8 lbs. green. For me the low memory is the selling point as well. I do like this line, but am alway open to try new line that I find on sale.

ive tryed p-line on my trout rods and i found it stretches like crazy, even with my drag set lower then need the line just stretches for day.

I have fallen in love with Izor xxx line. I use that ish on every thing. got 20lb on my salt water rod got 12 on my catfish, got 6 on my bass/ trout trolling rods, got 4lb on my ul set ups and 2lb for my fly tippet.

I was sold on Izor xxx when i was bassing at leg and got my senko stuck in the tulies and with the line warped around my forearm about 5 times and pulling with all my strength for about 5 min i couldn't get it to break.

on top of that it has a smaller diameter the other lines of the same test and cant beat 3k feet for $15 (4,6 and i think 8lb)

I use a line called Frog Hair for my fly tippets. Stuff is so thin and translucent, stays clear and has almost no line memory. Only problem is the cost but if your just using it as tippet, it's well worth the cost. 5x is the best all around size

which p-line did you use?

I've been using p-line's fluorocarbon and have no problems with stretching.

I also use P-Line from 4lb - 12lb flouro and co-polymer. Works great just copped a few new spools of their CXX series. Got it on my reels for this weekend. I'll let you know how it performs.

Old Thread but i use nothing but Maxima Ultra green when i use Mono.
I have really been getting into Nanofil and prower pro braid.
it has taken me awhile to get used tot he braid and how the wind can blow it around.
I love the sensitivity and still use maxima Leaders with it
