On the Water - 6:30am  ..  Off by 11:00am
Water Clarity - 15'
Conditions - Light wind  5-8mph , Sunny , Blue Ski
Fish Species Targeted  - Panfish , LMB
lures : Small Crappie jig tipped with worm and 4" senko

I entered lots 11-12 and Headed to the rocky point  . upon Getting there I Caught my first fish of the Day , Bluegill about 8" . Took a Photo and Released the guy to be caught another day.  Second cast of the day I hook into another Copperhead (about 8-9")  It heads to deeper water and over the top of the weeds where I get a Surprise . out of the weeds a HUGE LMB heads Straight for my blue gill and EXPLODES on the fish and Takes it off the line . I watch The giant Swim Away with the Gill in its mouth , Through my sunglasses that where wet from the LMB hitting the fish  ..  lol

All in all I ended up catching and Releasing 14 Bluegill , 3 Redear and 4 Dink LMB. Not a bad day but a successful one to say the least.

Where is that? I thought the old waterside was where the current fishing pier is

All the way to the right side of lots 11-12 , you will see that huge rocky point extending out , thats where the waterslides used to be , right before you hit moreno beach !
