Did an afternoon launch out at Sail Cove yesterday. It was a bit breezy to work the east end (easy to get there, would have been a nasty kick back). So we launched Sail Cove to try out two new Cumberland Tubes and Two sets of Osprey II waders. Backrests need to be adjusted but the tubes were fine. And frankly, I'm used to neoprene. While the waders worked fine, the lack of give felt weird. I'll get over it I guess.
Water felt to be in the mid 60s, didn't expect much, got even less. Drug some plastics around from the damn to the swim beach for nothing. Lots of surface activity just outside the swim buoys including birds diving. Dunno whether it was baitfish or what, some of it seemed larger. Never got a close look. Anywho, til next time.
