Shore Fishing Report -- What is that -- ?

Yep that's right I still shore fish from time to time and it is always with my daughter. We picked up some Millworms and bobbers and hit the local pond. The wind was up and the water was pretty clear. Air Temp was 80 degree's and the gills were on the chew.
The goal to catch more than the other Fisher Dad VS. Fisher Daugther. I started off first with a nice little gill, then the bite shut down and it was all just small bites for about an hour. 30 minutes to departure time and the bite opens up again. I will say this I beat my daughter by only one fish (we lost count) but the catch of the day was mine and my little girl had fun make sure everyone saw exactly what I caught to win over her. You decide did this count.

Next time buy waxworks.  They are a way better bait than mealworms.  Cost more, but catch more fish too.  And use Eagle Claw size 12 Circle Hooks.  The best hook made for kids!  Great for catch and release and kids don't need to set the hook.  Bobber goes down, just start reeling them in.  The Grandkids fished again today and out of the 7 of them, I'll bet they caught over 50 Bluegills in the 2 hours they fished.
