Okay so I packed my truck on Wednesday and was ready for tubing the LNL opener on Thursday and had just gotten into bed at around 1:00 PM when I got called by a co-worker and told that there had been a "cal off" and that I needed to be in at 7:00 PM instead of 11:30 PM.
Slept until around 5:15 PM and went into work, talked to the guy who called off at around 10:00 PM and he swore to me that he would be in on Thursday and that I could still take the night off.
Got off work on Thursday morning and ran down to LNL and was on the water by around 8:30 AM. Most of the fish where piled up in the creek mouth and every freakin boat and tuber was sitting on one side of them and the shore guys were sitting on the other side so fishing was S-L-O-W! :kick::ouch:
I did not get my first fish until around 11:45 AM and all the fish I caught were between then and around 12:45 PM
At around 1:20 I got off the water for a restroom break and to stretch my legs and back, I was back on the water at around 1:45ish and had just kicked back out to a good spot when my phone rang :news:
It was of course my work again, freakin guy had called off AGAIN!!!
I had to get off the lake and get home ASAP, I was in bed by around 6:30 PM and up again at midnight to go in and relieve the remaining swing shift guy.
Anyway all fish were caught on White & White tube jig/teaser set up, I think I only got one bite on a trout worm all day but nothing stuck.
Water was actually fairly clear for LNL but the overall weather sucked, cloudy and rain most of the morning.

I hope to get back out there Saturday the 17th...
